On the afternoon of November 14, a delegation from Linping District, Hangzhou City, visited the Xi'an High-tech Enterprise Association for a productive exchange focused on business innovation and industrial development. The meeting aimed to explore new opportunities for collaboration between the two regions.

The visit kicked off with a tour of the Silk Road Software City exhibition hall, where the delegation learned about the High-tech Zone’s current development, the companies based in the Software New City, and the region’s supporting infrastructure.
Following the tour, the group participated in a formal roundtable discussion, moderated by Ms. Jia Xiaoyan, Secretary-General of the Xi'an High-tech Enterprise Association. Representatives from key organizations, including the High-tech Zone Investment and Cooperation Bureau, Xi'an High-tech Zone Infrastructure Development Company, China National Standard Industrial Group Corporation, and Xi'an Xima Motor Co., Ltd., joined the conversation.

At the start of the meeting, Jia welcomed the Linping delegation and introduced the Xi'an High-tech Enterprise Association’s mission and operations. She highlighted the Association’s pivotal role in fostering technological innovation and facilitating industry partnerships.


Zhang Peng, Deputy Director of the High-tech Zone’s Investment and Cooperation Bureau, gave a comprehensive overview of the zone’s investment climate. He outlined its history, industrial landscape, and infrastructure, with a focus on its modern industrial framework, which includes five key sectors: optoelectronics, smart vehicles, biomedicine, new materials and energy, and high-end equipment. Zhang also discussed the region’s strategic efforts to “build, complement, and strengthen” its industrial ecosystem.

Ren Xiaoli, Deputy General Manager of the Xi'an High-tech Zone Infrastructure Development Company, shared insights into the company’s ongoing and upcoming industrial parks. These parks are designed to foster innovation, providing a vibrant ecosystem for technology companies and creating opportunities for investment, entrepreneurship, and talent development.
At the close of the meeting, Jia reiterated the significant strengths both Xi'an and Hangzhou bring to the table in terms of technological innovation and industrial development. She expressed hope that the exchange would deepen mutual understanding and lead to more cooperation. Both sides agreed to seize this opportunity to strengthen ties and work together to promote the growth of high-tech industries in both regions. Moving forward, the Xi'an High-tech Enterprise Association is committed to continuing its support for member companies, helping them thrive in an increasingly competitive global market.
