Xi’an High-tech Enterprise Association Marks 30th Anniversary with Landmark Series of Events 

February 9, 2026 — Xi’an High-tech Enterprise Association successfully hosted its 30th anniversary celebration under the theme “30 Years of Innovation, A New Journey Toward the Future.” The event brought together government officials, industry leaders, researchers, financial institutions, and member enterprises to reflect on three decades of development and explore new pathways for high-quality growth.

Driving Innovation and High-Quality Development

The morning session featured a high-level forum on innovation-driven development in Xi’an High-tech Zone. Mr. Chen Hui, Director of Xi’an High-tech Zone highlighted its’ role as a core engine of regional industrial growth, with significant achievements in advanced manufacturing, key technologies, and emerging industries.

Over the past five years, Xi’an High-tech Zone’s GDP has grown from RMB 241 billion to RMB 348 billion, maintaining an annual growth rate exceeding 7.2% and ranking among the top national high-tech zones.

A key milestone of the event was the launch of the Xi’an High-tech Zone Economic and Trade Enterprise Alliance, aimed at integrating resources across domestic and international trade, cross-border e-commerce, and supply chain services to foster collaborative growth among enterprises.

Leadership Renewal and Organizational Upgrade

Following the forum, the Association convened its 8th General Assembly and completed the election of a new Board of Directors.

To better support evolving industry needs, the Association established several specialized sub-associations, including:

· Foreign-Invested Enterprises Alliance

· Technology Going Global Alliance

· Economic and Trade Enterprises Alliance

This marks a shift from broad-based services to a more targeted, industry-focused support system.

In addition, the Association was recognized as a “Credit Benchmark Demonstration Base” by the Shaanxi Credit Association, reinforcing its role in promoting industry integrity and standardization.

The evening gala showcased performances created and performed by employees from member companies across sectors such as semiconductors, new materials, and intelligent manufacturing.
