Beijing ZGC Science Park

high-tech industrial development zone in China. It has developed into a “one district and sixteen parks” layout, which includes key parks such as Haidian, Changping, Shunyi, and Daxing Yizhuang. These parks cover the most concentrated regions of science, intellect, talent, and information resources in Beijing. The park hosts nearly 41 higher education institutions, including Peking University and Tsinghua University, and 206 national and municipal research institutes, such as those under the Chinese Academy of Sciences and the Chinese Academy of Engineering. It also has 67 national key laboratories, 27 national engineering research centers, and 28 national engineering technology research centers, among others.

Zhongguancun Science Park boasts six prominent industrial clusters, including next-generation internet, mobile internet and 5G communication, satellite applications, biotechnology and health, energy conservation and environmental protection, and rail transportation. Additionally, it has four potential industrial clusters in integrated circuits, new materials, high-end equipment manufacturing and general aviation, and new energy and electric vehicles, alongside a rapidly developing modern services sector.
