

Founded in 1991, the Berlin Adlershof Science Park is located in the southeastern part of Berlin, Germany’s capital, covering an area of 4.2 square kilometers. It is one of Germany’s most successful high-tech parks, often referred to as a “city within a city.” The park focuses on developing industries such as high-tech, cultural media, and service economy, with leading sectors including optoelectronics, renewable energy, microsystems and materials, information and media, as well as biotechnology and the environment. It houses 16 of Germany’s top research institutions, 9 incubators and technology centers, and has established a comprehensive industry-academia-research chain that spans from fundamental research to concept and prototype development, product design, experimental verification, and market promotion.
