On May 20, 2026, the 36th National Day for Helping Persons with Disabilities, the public welfare exchange event “Empowering with Technology—Building Equality Together: Setting Sail Again on the Career Sea” was successfully held.

This event is jointly initiated by HTC China, CCF Xi'an, the Xi'an High-Tech Enterprise Association, and the Xi'an Foreign-Invested Enterprises Alliance. Focusing on technology-driven disability support and the integration of people with and without disabilities, it brings together representatives from government, enterprises, and educational institutions to explore new approaches for empowering employment opportunities for persons with disabilities and building barrier-free workplaces.

The association actively organized representatives from its members to participate in the event, engaging in in-depth exchanges with the Shaanxi Provincial Welfare Foundation for Persons with Disabilities, the Xi'an Federation of Persons with Disabilities, the Xi'an Lianzhongli Social Work Development Center, and university representatives. Together, these parties are exploring new pathways to empower employment for persons with disabilities and working collaboratively to promote high-quality development of employment initiatives for this group.

Jia Xiaoyan, Secretary-General of the Xi'an High-Tech Enterprise Association, delivered a keynote speech, introducing the association’s and the alliance’s operational achievements as well as their future plans for public welfare initiatives. The association will fully leverage its role as a bridge and link, fostering collaboration between technology companies and foreign-invested enterprises, promoting the development of barrier-free workplaces, and creating an inclusive and equitable employment environment. At the same time, the association is launching a special charitable care fund, which will pool donations from enterprises and employees, as well as proceeds from public charity sales, to specifically support employment empowerment for people with disabilities and enhance accessibility in the workplace—demonstrating corporate social responsibility through concrete actions.

The association’s board member companies—Air Products, Samsung Data, Xintai Electronics, and Qiyue Group—were invited to attend and proactively responded to the public welfare initiative. They are actively encouraging more enterprises to join the inclusive integration of persons with disabilities, providing them with equitable employment opportunities and an inclusive, friendly workplace environment.

The event featured special sharing sessions, displays of public welfare projects, and opportunities for business networking. Guests engaged in in-depth discussions on topics including the current employment situation for people with disabilities, supportive policies, assistive technology support, and practical public welfare initiatives. The event also showcased interim achievements of programs focused on cultivating tech talent and providing employment support for young people with disabilities. Through diversified approaches such as skills training, job matching, and corporate internships, these programs aim to help people with disabilities secure high-quality employment.

At the conclusion of the event, all parties jointly released a joint initiative to support employment for persons with disabilities. The initiative will deepen collaboration in areas such as policy support, technology empowerment, job creation, and social services, thereby propelling Shaanxi Province’s efforts to promote employment for persons with disabilities to a new level. Participants actively took part in hands-on experiences involving intangible cultural heritage crafts, fostering mutual understanding and spreading the concept of integration through interactive engagement. The atmosphere at the event was warm, loving, and harmonious.

In the future, the Xi'an High-Tech Enterprise Association will continue to fulfill its public welfare mission, collaborating with more member enterprises. By leveraging technology, embracing corporate responsibility, and fostering social synergy, we will jointly build an equitable and inclusive social environment, ensuring that every dream can set sail and take flight in the professional world!
