On the afternoon of May 18, 2026, Li Jiancong, a Member of Parliament from Malaysia’s People’s Justice Party, accompanied a delegation of Malaysian enterprises on a visit to Giant Biogene. Officials from the Xi’an High-tech Zone Investment Service Bureau and the Xi’an High-tech Enterprise Association joined the visit and participated in a symposium. The delegation first toured the exhibition area showcasing Giant Biogene corporate development journey and the hall displaying its invention patent certificates, gaining a detailed understanding of the company’s entire process—from its founding and R&D breakthroughs to industrialization and market implementation. Afterwards, both sides held an in-depth exchange and discussion.

The CFO from Giant Biogene introduced that the company philosophy of "right direction, unity, and perseverance," which allowed it to gradually build a robust technological barrier. Last year, the company achieved a revenue of 5.5 billion RMB. Starting from the medical sector, the company has expanded into functional skincare and medical devices, establishing a comprehensive, multi-dimensional sales network that covers public hospitals, OTC pharmacies, retail chains like Watsons, and online channels.

Members of the delegation expressed that they were highly impressed by Giant Biogene's development path, which is built on long-term accumulation, technology-driven growth, and brand heritage. They noted that there is vast potential for cooperation between the two sides in biotechnology, medical ingredients, and the commercialization of research findings. Looking ahead, both parties plan to leverage platforms such as the ASEAN Science and Technology Innovation Base to promote deep alignment between Chinese and Malaysian enterprises in terms of technology, standards, and markets.

This visit not only allowed Malaysian entrepreneurs to witness the robust strength of Chinese biotechnology companies, but also laid a solid foundation for future cooperation between the two sides. As one member of the delegation put it, this was an “eye-opening” learning journey. We look forward to achieving deep and mutually beneficial collaboration in technology, channels, and markets in the near future, injecting new momentum into the technological cooperation.
