On September 4, 2024, the Xi'an High-tech Enterprise Association, led by Secretary-General Ms. Jia Xiaoyan, hosted a productive visit to Sinopec Green Energy Geothermal Development Co., Ltd. The delegation, accompanied by Wang Hui, General Manager of the Turbine Division at Shaangu Group, was warmly welcomed by Liu Bin, General Manager of Sinopec Green Energy's Shaanxi branch, and Vice General Manager Zou Yanrong.

The meeting opened with Secretary-General Jia providing context for the visit and outlining its significance in fostering cross-industry communication and collaboration. Liu Bin expressed his gratitude and extended a warm welcome to the visiting delegation.

During the session, Liu Bin highlighted the company's strategic layout, historical development, technological strengths, and service offerings. He emphasized the abundance of geothermal resources in China, particularly in Shaanxi, and noted the significant potential for energy conversion and utilization. Liu expressed hope that collaboration with Shaanxi Heavy-duty Gas Turbine would help advance the company's geothermal + initiatives, and he welcomed further cooperation in technology and global business expansion.

Wang Hui, General Manager of Shaangu Group Gas Turbine Division, shared insights into the company's capabilities. She noted that Sinopec Green Energy's technological advantages in thermal energy play a crucial role in adjusting energy structures and improving environmental conditions. Shaangu Group, known for its strength in turbine machinery, boasts world-leading efficiency levels in its EKOL reverse turbine product series, which spans all industrial turbine applications under 100MW. The division has also successfully completed numerous overseas projects, positioning it well to support Sinopec Green Energy in expanding international business.

Secretary-General Jia emphasized the Association's role in facilitating collaboration and expressed enthusiasm about seeing companies build partnerships through the platform. She encouraged both companies to leverage the "Belt and Road" initiative for shared market growth, new technologies, and expanding into new sectors. She reiterated that the Association would continue to support their cooperation and strive to create win-win opportunities for all parties involved.

The discussion continued with a lively exchange of ideas regarding relevant technologies, with both companies sharing project experiences. A preliminary cooperation agreement was reached, and Vice General Manager Zou Yanrong of Sinopec Green Energy’s Shaanxi branch expressed optimism about the future. He stressed the importance of the equipment manufacturing industry in supporting national development and enhancing industrial capacity. Zou affirmed Sinopec Green Energy's commitment to collaborating with Shaanxi Heavy-duty Gas Turbine to explore new international markets, deepen technological and product integration, and boost manufacturing levels and operational efficiency for both companies.
