On the afternoon of December 4, 2024, the Xi'an High-tech Enterprise Association, in collaboration with the Xi'an High-tech Zone Business Bureau, successfully hosted a foreign trade business training session at Silk Road Innovation Valley. The event aimed to enhance the skills and capabilities of professionals working in foreign trade companies within the High-tech Zone, while supporting the region’s efforts to develop high-quality foreign trade. More than 300 participants from local member companies attended.

The session featured a special lecture by Mr. Guo Chen, Director of the Foreign Trade Department at the Shaanxi Provincial Department of Commerce. Mr. Guo offered an in-depth overview of provincial policies designed to help businesses expand into international markets. Other key industry players, including representatives from the High-tech Zone Business Bureau, Tax Bureau, Shaanxi Electronic Port Company, China Export & Credit Insurance Corporation Shaanxi Branch, Agricultural Bank of China Shaanxi Branch, and China Merchants Bank Xi'an High-tech Zone Comprehensive Branch, also gave presentations on a wide range of essential topics. These included the interpretation of foreign trade policies, export tax rebate procedures, export credit insurance applications, "Single Window" operation guidelines, RMB exchange rate trends, risk management strategies, and cross-border financial digital services.

The training covered a comprehensive range of subjects, with a strong focus on practical applications tailored to the immediate needs of participants. Attendees praised the content for its relevance to the current foreign trade landscape and its direct applicability to their day-to-day business operations. Many noted that the session deepened their understanding of global trade trends and policy shifts, while broadening their perspectives and boosting their confidence. The training offered valuable insights on leveraging policy advantages, expanding into international markets, and mitigating trade risks.
